EPICS develops proprietary formulation technologies that reduce the cost and time required to commercialize agricultural inputs, including crop seeds, biologicals, and crop protection products. Our approach includes the use of Camelina as a biological production and delivery system, supporting more targeted application (contact surfaces and/or systemicly) while reducing overall chemical or environmental footprint.
We operate as an accelerator, enabling rapid go-to-market advancement and life cycle optimization of "validated" or in-development biological assets across a complex and evolving agricultural landscape. We are not focused on discovering new active ingredients. Instead, EPICS unlocks the potential of existing molecules by improving how they are delivered, retained, and activated within plant systems.
Our technology is built on three integrated platforms—Filmax™, Penetrall™, and Bioactiva™—each designed for seamless adoption within existing agricultural practices. Typical use rates of 0.1 to 1 percent v/v per hectare provide cost-efficient performance gains for growers and input companies.
All platforms are surface-agnostic and compatible with monocots and dicots across soil, foliar, and under-glass systems, supporting broad utility in diverse production environments.

Innovative Product Development
Innovation is a core value at EPICS. We are actively advancing new registrations within the Filmax™ platform and expanding the performance capabilities of Penetrall™ through ongoing development and collaboration.
Our technology also supports next‑generation biostimulant solutions. Improvements in abiotic stress tolerance can be achieved using EPICS formulations, including our Bioactiva™ technology.
Gene editing is an additional tool within our innovation pipeline. Targeted edits enhance the performance of expression hosts for use as is or in combination with the Penetrall™ system, enabling higher relative expression levels of recombinant proteins such as candidate “X.” These improvements strengthen the productivity of the platform and broaden the range of biological assets that can be advanced through EPICS systems.
